Using the highest quality materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, CR\T, Quad/Graphics’ ink production subsidiary, began formulating and manufacturing EnviroTech inks in 1982. Based on extensive experience gained from working with press operators, these inks are now used to print all Quad/Graphic’s domestically produced products.

EnviroTech inks vastly improve quality, consistency and customer satisfaction while also providing greater control over supply and cost.

Standards for EnviroTech Inks

To earn the EnviroTech label, an ink must meet the following requirements:
20% or greater renewable resource content
or
50% or greater recycled content
or
VOC limit of 20%
and the ink must be manufactured at CR\T.

By including the EnviroTech logo on printed products, clients demonstrate to their readers that their product is printed using ink that has high renewable resource content.
